Molybdenum
Molybdenum
Molybdenum is a silvery-white metal that is ductile and highly resistant to corrosion. Most commercial molybdenum is used in the production of alloys, where it is added to increase hardness, strength, electrical conductivity, and resistance to wear and corrosion. Molybdenum does not occur naturally as a free metal on Earth; it is found only in various oxidation states in minerals.
Molybdenum miners appreciate the Wilfley Waterless and Leakless Seal Technology for different reasons. Water is scarce in most mines, and Wilfley helps miners to comply with local environmental laws. Besides, a leakless slurry pump offers higher reliability and longer mean time between maintenance.
